Just make sure that they incorporate well with the other decor in the room. The other good things about rugs such as you can move them around the room to get a different look and feel I have found over the Internet companies that create wood floor medallions and hardwood inlays.
Now, this route could get very expensive, especially if you are looking at a large room. There are hardwood floors that you can do yourself and pick up at a local hardware store: such as Lowe’s or Home Depot. This option can be much less painful on your pocketbook, however, the pain in your back may override your pocketbook.
